So now im waiting on my new KW variant 3 coilovers to arrive at GTM for them to install as well as my replacement shock from stance so i can sell those coils. Then after i bring the car back home then i have to get my headers installed, then dyno, so its going to be a while becasue of this unexpected suspension problem.
not to be discouraging but i think the headers wont help much. The HR, just like the old DE is not really mod happy. They seem to be pretty maxed out from the factory. I would just spare my money from now on , and save up for the almighty turbo

STD correction will read higher than SAE correction.

SAE is the current standard for most automakers and is more accurate and indicative of what you are putting to the wheels, not STD

Correct.

Note: The new SAE J2723 is actually not a new set of correction factors, it is simply a new procedure for using the existing factors (J1349 and J1995) used by automotive manufacturers. See the paragraph below from the SAE's website:
Power and torque certification provide a means for a manufacturer to assure a customer that the engine they purchase delivers the advertised performance. This SAE Standard has been written to provide manufacturers with a method of certifying the power of engines to SAE J1349 or SAE J1995. Document SAE J2723 specifies the procedure to be used for a manufacturer to certify the net power and torque rating of a production engine according to SAE J1349 or the gross engine power of a production engine according to SAE J1995. Manufacturers who advertise their engine power and torque ratings as Certified to SAE J1349 or SAE J1995 shall follow this procedure. Certification of engine power and torque to SAE J1349 or SAE J1995 is voluntary, however, this power certification process is mandatory for those advertising power ratings as "Certified to SAE J1349".

Don't be so negative bro. You're puttting more power than many others with the DE engine that have more bolt-ons. You should be happy. It's not all about the numbers. I'm sure ur car pulls strong.

BTW, I think the STD usually reads about 3% higher than SAE, but maybe others could chime in.

thanks, i should have not set my expectations so high. In fact, it pulls a lot harder than before. I have never driven a full bolt on DE, but i have seen a thread 9if i recall correctly) where a guy had a GTM built short block and put down 294 whp, not sure about the torque

fwak, your car put almost the same amount of whp/wtq. So, i doubt that there is gonna be any difference in the performance. AND YOU ARE BONE STOCK

i'm pretty sure i'm only that close to you cause of the conditions, it's been dry pretty much all week when i went and it was like 40 degree's. same day same place, i think its safe to say that your car is quite a bit faster.

but i do think you're giving up some power with the intakes and cause your exhaust is a true duel without an x pipe or h pipe

i am thinking of swapping back to the stock intake boxes and re-dynoing, just for the heck of it.

^^I posted this on your other thread as well:

Since u dynod on a dynojet, what you should do is download winpep from dynojet.com. Then ask for the dyno run files from the shop (very small files--can be sent vie e-mail or put on a thumbdrive).

Then load up the run files on the winpep reader.

You can then make your own graphs. You can even switch correction factors too. So you can see STD correction and SAE correction.
