Why paint the cover so nice if you are going to let your engine bay get so dirty???

Haha thats funny you say that because I just cleaned and armor all'd the entire engine bay yesterday! Probably the 3rd time I've done it this summer. Its not very dusty where I drive so it never looks/gets that dirty.

I know what you mean man. I live in dubai and we sometimes get crazy sand storms!! There s really no point in polishing your engine bay often when you live in places like this because after 10minutes on the road its all dusty again!!

not to be rude, but how do you plan on doing that, honestly? i really am jealous of the 3.8 350 hp, but its not like the type r integra motor where they sell them from japan on ebay, even if someone from japan did sell the engine, it would probably cost over 5k plus install. then you would need the ecu, or a tune. so do you plan on buying a stroker kit? im curious to hear your thoughts...

on the other hand i plan on doing the silver engine cover to red today, im just going to use the high heat (500 degree) engine paint from the auto store in flat, i wont use gloss red so (crosses fingers) lets hope they have it!

Chris

Make sure that you clean it very well first. Use rubbing alcohol to prep the surface of contaminants.
