Here's my contribution. Cover is metallic red. Strut bar and nissan emblem are in flat black. Also decided to paint that yellow dipstick red.

+1 on the high temp or what exact paint did you use? it looks great, i couldnt get my tape to stick i washed it with dish soap and tried cleaning with acetone and the tape wouldnt sitck... at all... it was rediculous. so could you go a little more in depth about the grey scotch brite? did you scrub the black to, i would think it would get scuffed? thanks!!

Hey A.H where did you buy your samco cooling hoses and your grounding kit? Can't find any website that are selling them for the 08 model..Sick engine bay im going for the same look. You should think of getting a carbon fiber Air Cooling Guide..

So far my paint seems to be holding up perfectly. The grounding kit I got from Scott @ Stillen or stillen.com and the got the samco sport hoses from Sharif @ Forged(sponsor).

PS: Reserved your engine bay is ****ign sick!!

Hey guys, so I got my cover painted and left the 3.5 V6 in the original silver because doing them in red was a bit too much IMO. Then I the emblem just looked bad in chrome so I went with a flat black to match the cover but the NISSAN letters aren't all that noticeable. So I need a little input here, should I do the NISSAN letters in the emblem in red or silver?

BTW the GtSpec metal emblem is not affixed and haven't decided to do so but let me know what you guys think...

Not sure why it isn't working for you... Its weird not sure how to help you out. Are you using a new roll of masking tape?
