Default *HR Dyno Experiment @ National Speed Wilmington NC July 5th*

At National Speed I will be dynoing my car on the 5th of July, 5 runs right now it will be stock air filters vs k&ns, so far. This is a Dyno Jet dyno and these guys really know what they are doing. Check them out; http://www.nationalspeedinc.com/
If any of you guys want to send me your intakes I will pay for shipping back to you and will send these back as soon as this is over. I am paying for the dyno time and the k&n filters. Also if you live in North Carolina I could come to get your intakes.
Let me know what you guys think.......We need Stillen Intakes, AEM/Nismo Intakes, Fujita Intakes, JWT Intakes, and what ever is out.......

Come on guys lets get some intakes sent! Lets take this forum back to actually being technical with helpful information. Jason is an awesome guy and I know the results will help many in making a decision on what to buy. It will be done at an incredible shop with incredible mechanics. This will be a huge help for the HR guys. Help make it happen!!!

You could donate your AEM intakes for a couple days that would help.

i really expected this thread to get a lot more attention. You have a guy here willing to donate his car, his time, and his money all for the purpose of finding out what performance mods will give the greatest WHP gains on the HR motor. He is willing to pay shipping to get the part back to you, willing to pay for the dyno time, and willing to pay the labor to swap parts on and off over a couple days. To me it seems like there are a lot of part makers out there that should be putting there money where their mouth is. XXX company says their intake will give you an extra 8-10hp to the wheels. Well guess what, here is their chance to man up. AEM, NISMO, Stillen, K&N, JWT ect.....this is your chance to actually PROVE that your product not only will do what you claim, but also out shine your competitor. On top of that, this is a very popular shop that could be selling tons of your product with good results.

If my name was stamped on a intake/filter or whatever you better believe Jason would have one of my products for this test. This guy got blown up oversea's protecting our butt's and now he is reaching out AGAIN wanting to help fellow Z owners. Send him some products (which you get back) and lets find out who is still standing at the end of the day.

I'm not trying to be a dick but really what intakes show gains on a non moving dyno? That kinda goes against everything they were designed to do. Unless the stock airbox is completely cluttered and does not breath, do you really expect to show anything when there is no velocity stack affect on the intakes?
