Only because they don't cater to what you believe.
I told you so.

good to see nothing changed over your vacation, still making misinformed posts. 3 whp is WELL within dyno variation. not to say that he didnt gain, but a single run that shows 3 whp is inconclusive. youd have to do a whole bunch of dyno's with each setup to conclusively show that there is ever a 3 whp gain.

did 3 back to back both ways... I don't mean run.... sit.... sit... run....

I mean run, slow, downshift, run....

think what you want. you can see the curve with the stock falls off at high rpms and with intakes it keeps going. SbZenth has similar fall with stocks and similar pick ups with intakes.

alls we knows is our cars make more with intakes...

Its actually my pointing out that JWT makes excellent products, with a lot of R&D behind them. I knew these would make power. Its something in the way JWT shapes the actual filter (its patented) to reduce turbulence.

Denial.

You are wrong, and here is proof.

+1

I literally have the same exact numbers except for a few tenths of hp/tq. so i think these runs do actually show something. but to each his own. You guys can waste money on intakes. I, on the other hand, will use that money for something else, like hookers

On a serious note, i really do think stock intakes are better. MY car has been running a lot smoother since i put them on over the AEM intakes.

This thread is proof enough, unless you can come up with dyno proof that popchargers on HR's DON'T work.

theres no proof that they do work. 3whp in a run =\ proof. i have no reason to not want them to work, just would prefer some proof. and thats not something that one person can prove on a single run. takes many people making gains to have proof, or a really conclusive run, like 7+ hp

3whp maybe due to the filter.

lets see how it fares with the stock intake + k&N filter

so with all you experts in here saying everything posted in mine or sbZenith's thread....

when are YOU going to go buy parts and spend time/money on a dyno to prove what's what?

From now on I'm not gonna post anything that I find out and just sit back and redicule the people that're trying post ACTUAL NUMBERS that were seen.

I didn't say popchargers were the best, not saying everyone will pick up that much. just saying what I gained and where.

Take it/ Leave it... just don't junk up the tread with useless crap!

your not really surprised/offended at the diversity of dialogue presented here are you?

After reading many threads on intakes it seems lucky this one did not go off on several unrelated/nonrelevant tangents where people bash each other.

Nice numbers BTW.

The only thing that matters is if you are happy with your mod.

Anyone know this answer?
If its true that an ECU takes time to learn a mod and adjust, than is it possible to measure a valid result a mod makes if you do dyno runs back to back?(only varible is change in MOD?)
