Let me know if you have any other questions on the AP.

Aside from the obvious, ie: no more need to send the ECU in for reflashes because of the handheld unit and the price, what is the difference between the AccessPort and a reflash from Technosquare? What are the similarities? If after getting the AP I keep on adding mods or changing things, what will be the cost of downloading a new mapping? Can it be used on a dyno for fine tuning?

The AP is handheld, you can track yoour 1/4 times, 0-60 times etc and a BUNCH of other great features.

You can download maps directly to your AP, free of charge. Any tuner or qualified tuner can easily tune ur AP no problems. That is the beauty of the Accessport!

However, currently, you can only get custom tunes in Portland, Dallas, or here in Utah on the Nissan product line.

Are you talking to anyone in the NY area who would be able to tune this?

Oh, sorry, I forgot to post this already, but it looks like our stage 1 map is producing 12 HP and 9 lbs of torque. I did not get numbers for stage 2 before our tuner left for the track. This is the '07 350Z numbers. Not the G37...

Is there ever going to be an option for the end user to tune with the ap ourselves?

There is currently no plan for or against having an end user tunable option. There will be a AccessTuner Professional version so that our authorized tuning shops can do custom tunes. I do not have any official date on that yet.

I understand the point of having a protuner version thats fine. But you dont have any pro-tuners for half of the country.... non in the northeast no less. I like what the product can do but why would I get this when half of the product is completely useless to me? Sorry if it sounds like im complaining but I cant get the full benefit of a product because I dont live in the proper state?

That's because we haven't released the Pro tuner software yet. Once we do, there will be tuners all over the country. But during the software development stage, we only have the few select tuners.

I recently installed the AP on our GTR and it's BAD *** on that car. I'm anxiously awaiting our shipment for the new HR/VHR AccessPORTS so I can get a few on cars here (my Z included).

Dave, I mentioned this to Scott earlier, but if you ever need help with HR/VHR tuning I have access to the vehicles, Nissan consults, and various intakes, test pipes, HFCs, exhausts, etc... here at work. I know we're in Phoenix and you don't have a Nissan tuner here, but if there's anything I can do to help, please let me know.

New questions:

1. Why does the AP keeps the rev limiter unchanged?
2. I should assume that the graph under the "COBB AccessPORT for '07-'08 Nissan 350Z" tab on the website is from an HR, right?
