1- We are waiting for feedback from customers as to where they would like it raised to. Then it can be implemented on the next revision.
2- Yes, that is for the HR motors. It's not a lot different than the chart for the old models since that dyno chart is based on the '06 engine.

I have our stage 2 numbers finally. Looks like stage 2 is good for about 19 HP and 20 lbs of torque over stock.

Are the stage 2 increases (+19hp and 20tq) with or without the listed stage 2 mods?

Just to make sure I understand Dave... If I dynoed my car with HFCs and exhaust installed, and netted 285 RWHP on a DJ, I should expect to see 304 RWHP with the stage 2 tune?

Also, I read that Cobb prefers we retain the stock intakes when using the stage 2 map to avoid a possible lean condition, is this true?

Yes, we suggest using stock intakes. You can have drop-in filters.

As for the numbers, I am not sure exactly what they were for the '07, but I will use the '06 since I know that one. My '06 made X amount of power. We threw a dual exhaust on and netted a 0 HP gain. We tuned it and got 9 HP. Then, we put it back to a stock tune and put HFC's on it. The best of the HFC's we tried netted a 4 HP gain. Then we tuned it and got I think 19 HP over stock. So HFC's alone = 4 HP, HFC and a tune = 19 HP.

Now I know we have made no fans on these forums posting our actual numbers since most of the favorite mods give us no gains at all and some even cause a loss of power. Some of this may be due to the Mustang dyno we use being a very conservative dyno. And some of it may be due to our 4400 foot altitude not being friendly to NA cars.

Hope I answered your question.

Some questions:

1. Can you guys do some testing of the new Injen long-tube CAI? part number is sp1987. this type was not tested here: http://blogs.cobbtuning.com/?p=160#comments

2. I'd like to see some independent Dynos (no offense). I am really interested in this. I was about to get a Technosquare reflash until i heard about AP. now I am not so sure. I like the idea of an easy local reflash if needed. alsom it seems like warranty arguments can be avoided if there's not a huge technosquare sticker on the ECU. Also, it could be easily reflashed back to stock.

3. A custom dyno-tune is important to me. Downloading a preset tune seems sketchy to me. Can this custom tune then be saved in the AP device for a later reflash or can it only store preset stage-1 and stage-2 tunes?

4. Can you partner with Rob at Z-car garage in San Jose, CA to be one of your few select tuners during the development phase? I'll be the first paying/testing customer. If that's impossible, when do you think your pro-tuner software will be released?

5. Do you recommend a particular HFC? I was leaning towards stillen.

Thanks!

1- I don't know if we plan to test any more intakes. That was just more of an experiment. If we have a custom tune come in that has one obviously we will test it though.
2- There is also some other added benefits to the AP such as data monitoring and performance test. But being able to go back to stock is definitely another plus.
3- All custom tunes can be saved to the AP for later use. That way if you go back to stock you don't lose your custom tune. As I mentioned earlier though, we have not released our tuning software just yet.
4- To my knowledge we will not be having any more tuners until we release our software. We do not have an official date for the release.
5- I believe we should be releasing our HFC's in a few weeks, so I would recommend them I have had ours on for testing for a long time and they have never cause any check engine lights.
