However I am considering maybe adding a 100 shot of nitrous with a tune next summer
that is the route i have been debating getting around 315 NA then adding the bottle for those extra fun times

I'm acutally convinced that I'm going to go the nitrous route but before I do I have a couple uncertainties. Now that our HR engine is stronger than the DE I don't think i'll have a problem with a 125 shot(rwhp). However I do not want to run nitrous until i can run 1-step colder plugs which as far as I know are not avaliable. Also idk what to do about engine management. If i just got a reflash woudl that mess up my NA tune? I don't want to get a standalone and as far as I know there aren't any avaliable. What do you guys recomend in order to run a very safe nitrous setup on our HR motor. BTW i am planning on running Dynotune. Thx

Very very nice video. Sounds absolutely beastly from inside. And I can't hear any rasp.

I'd assume everything you need comes with an HR nitrous kit, it shouldn't effect the reflash, it may have something to piggy back the ecu, and change the reflash parameters during a shot like increase fuel and retard timing. I'd just run a 50 shot for safety.

i would not go with the 125 shot if you read in the nitrous forum area a guy was running the 75 shot safe with no problems. when he upped it to 100 i believe his clutch started to slip and give out on him. i thought technosquare made a reflash that would work with a nitrous kit??

To be safe, I would go back to stock timing, maybe a degree or two under, and you should be safe with a 75-80 shot.

I thought technosquare did too. The thing is though, if I can't run a 100 shot SAFTLY, I won't run nitrous. I have an auto so I wouldn't have a clutch issue but do you think with a 100 shot would ruin my torque converter? BTW are one step colder plugs not a huge deal? Cna i do nitrous without them? I only ask because everywhere in teh nitrous forum it says they are a necessity?

A.H. you seem like a smart guy and like me whatever you do you want to make sure it doesn't hurt the car and take all the precautionary measures...so in saying that i would run the plugs regardless of if some people arent. i would think it would mess with your torque converter...afterall nitrous is an all at once kind of thing not like boost then comes on slower and has a smoother power curve

It won't ruin the torque converter, but it will ruin the clutch packs if the transmission has them.

Me running the plugs is not the problem. The problem is that I don't think their are any for the HR. At least I don't think there are any avaliable?

I don't even know how or when to change my spark plugs. I have close to 22K miles on my car. I've been wanting to re-gap the plugs. I dont want to mess anything up.

Everyone said that CAIs are a waste of money. I fail to believe that with this info!

Get a transmission valvebody kit, to make your transmission shift tighter and faster. This will cause less wear on your tranny if you run NOS.

Yea i have the gtm valvebody and i love it. It's great that it also helps in nitrous. So I guess i could actually start off with a 75 shot and wait for plugs to be avaliable before i up to 100 but my main concern is engine management. I called tefchnosquaer and tadashi said eh won't touch my car with nitrous and he completly does nto recomend it. I am afraid to mess up my car becaseu i do have advanced timing wiht my reflash. I am all about the safety of my engine and I won't go through with nitrous until I am 100% sure I won't messa nythign up. So could I run a 50 or 75 shot basically bolt on without changing anythign eslse or what type of setup do you gusy recommend.
