A.H, i know you already blew a bunch of money on testing stuff for us, but what are the chances of you going to a dynojet dyno for one more run?

Lets do some easy math.
On an 5AT he is getting 318whp. A 6MT with same exact Mods and dyno should make roughly 330whp. (Factoring in a 4% jump in whp)
A Stock 6MT makes about 265whp.
That comes out to an increase of 65whp for the mods: Headers, Exhaust, Test Pipes, Intakes, Pulley, Reflash & Tune.
The added 65whp would make this a drastically different car to drive compared to stock.

i say use regular pump gas so everyone can see what you make on a dyno jet in standard trim. besides, wouldn't you need a retune to take advantage of the 100 octane...
...i'm just being selfish and trying to get you to do stuff for my good

would still be almost 20% more power to the wheel compared to a stock car...
it's pretty much the same jump between a stock vq35de to a HR
50WHP more put the Z in the M3 E92 weight to power ratio.. or damn close.
with 10.6lbs*rwhp for the Z and 10.2lbs*rwhp for the M3
the stock Z is about 12.6lbs*rwhp
shave 150lbs from the Z and you'll go to 10.15lbs*rwhp
and 150lbs isn't a too challenging target... put also a nice flywheel and you'll have a DAMN NICE car...
for reference a cayman S is about 11.2lbs*rwhp (stock of course)
I guess that's enough bench racing for today

Thanks A.H. Are u not worrying about the heat inside the engine bay because the stainless 304 is not ceramic coated? I find my engine bay running pretty hot, so I am thinking a vented hood right now.

And no problem. It's a pleasure to give this info out. I rememebr when i wanted to know so much abut the HR but there wasn't much info out so i decided to do as much as i could to help the HR community.

Second, the higher octane isn't a power adder... so unless you bump up your timing or you're using the higher octane for safety with spray or a FI power adder and higher boost (which from your post you're not), then you really aren't helping anything but your engine to not detonate.. I guess it's a little added insurance but just giving you the heads up so you can maybe save some money and not expect a real gain on the dyno.

PS: You can of course always do differnet combos then mine but if you do research and decide you want the Fast Intentions Intimidator or test pipes just let Tony @ Fast Intentions know Arsh helped make your decision. Also Fast Intentions will be hosting a a G35, 350z, G37 ONLY meet at there shop in Socal in October ish. My car will be the 350z he will have on display(due to the great performance numbers I acheived with his exhaust system) along with a g35 and g37. Nothing is finalized yet but there will be food, many cars, and a raffle. The prizes will most likely be a pair of HFC and/or a pair of Reasonated Test Pipes with a very fair prize for each raffle ticket. Announcements about this event will soon follow, but if anyone wants to come check out the car or ask questions in person that would be a very nice time to do it. Any questions about anything feel free to ask me in this thread or by PM.

BTW the CEL I just ignore for now as the Reflash does not address the CEL. Tony @ Fast INtentiosn has told me he has found a way to cure teh CEL for sure on the 07's and has the parts on order. That's how i'll get mine out but to be honest it really doens't bother me.
