So I talked to a tuner who tuned my friend's car, and he said he doesnt need a harness to put the ultimate in my car. He said he could just hardwire it into my ECU and wah-lah. He's gonna street tune it and create a MAP from scratch. He said he's gonna take off the speed limiter and RPM limiter and also get rid of the delayed throttle body response. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

I was made aware of one problem with the EU in burning-out ignition coil packs (electrical problems). If you don't wire it correctly, you may be in for some damage to the car which is why the patch harness is a plus because you simply connect and plug things in rather than butcher into the stock wiring harness.

In addition, should you ever have to take off the EU, using a patch harness will be as simple as unplugging/unclipping rather than seperating the intertwined wires. I had to remove the EU once and having that patch harness was a saving grace.

I'm a hardcore wirer We'll see what happens I suppose, and I beg to differ about your opinion, a friend of mine has the same ECU and in my opinion I think it's the best one out, next to the utec.

EU is great. I had it on a turbo car already.. You literally can touch everything. It really is worth the money if you can get it. I can't wait to run something over a reflash to really get some nice power.

Just wondering where you guys are at with the Osiris 2.0. I see that you guys have a Tuner feature now ... which is VERY appealing to me. Does the ECU still need to be sent in for modification ? When will this be available and ready to use for HR's ?

i would go for the Haltech Platinum. it can be hardwired in as well right now and will fully control everything you want to throw at the car. turbo, na, supercharger ect...

It's "voila" not wah-lah.

The emanage is pretty cool in that they sell one version that isn't application specific. That's probably the one that ends up in the few HRs that have them.

I'm scared that your hardwiring will fail being as that you didn't spell 'voila' correctly.
