I think that may be common with the HP @ MPH.

I'll be doing HFC's and a reflash. I hope to get to 300whp.

I wish I had a torque reading

I don't understand why they do HP vs MPH. What does that do for you? Shouldn't it always be HP vs RPM so you knwo when you have power and where? IDK seems retarded to me

The dyno ops, couldn't get their tach in gear with mine for some reason... I was disappointed about that as well. They tried grounding their tach cable on my car, and their tach on the dyno would bounce irradically and not match with my RPMs.

If there's a way to translate through speed for gear. Then maybe there's a way to get an estimate RPM.

Done in 3RD gear... what speed does the 3RD gear end?

Or is there any dyno baselines with HP over MPH?

they only do that one they can't get the signal from your tach. my retarded dyno place did the same.

damn... how do they have to do it then? do you have a dyno chart?

I want something to compare my hp with, i would like if I could get a baseline chart. I'd assume that the 270whp would be at about 7000RPM. I really wanted to see my TQ figures

Nice...Yea I don't think they read A/F's below 11 so mine was flatlined....what rmp's did they stop at ? I don't think they took anybodies past 6500.

i seriously doubt it. 300whp is kinda hard to get to unless you have Tadashi to personally tinker with your ECU.

So you got about a 25whp increase? I think this is the Intake and Exhaust combo that I'm going to go with when I upgrade. Bassani exhaust sounds the best of ones i've heard so far.

Maybe he's talking about (I think) Adam@Z1? That was on a DE engine, and there were more things involved than simple bolt ons.

I thought stock auto HR's were dynoing 250-255 whp?

It's a good combo so far, but I'm curious to see if the HFC's and Tadashi can get this to 300whp. I think it's possible, assuming I'd get 5whp, and 25whp more for the reflash and if necessary the tune.

^^IDK if this is true but from that other thread it seems there dyno was having many problems that day. I think on a dynojet that was working properly you might have seen more gains, especially since your car wasn't revved passed 6500rpm(from what i've heard).

they asked where my car revs to, I said 7,500... I'd assume they took it to there or close, but I'm not sure. I wanted a RPM and torque readings. I read somewhere on this site, there's two grounding loops right under the engine cover. had I known this before I would of made sure there was a tach signal.

Yes, Tadashi was involved. By the way I have test pipes, exhaust, JWT intakes, JWT clutch+flywheel, UR lightweight pulley, and i put down 292whp uncorrected 261wtq. The first time (i posted the thread w/ a chart i put 290 corrected/260wtq) I dont have the recent charts but 300whp in kinda hard, but not impossible. Not saying it cant be done. The place i dyno'd is on altitude of 800feet.

they can pull the tach signal easily from either these ground loops or simply a spark plug.
