yeah even from a quick tap of the gas from a stop sign, my car will chirp. I'll go right now to show you what I mean and maybe someone can chime in. but here's chirping from a roll.

I do hear the tires screeching from the dig, but not at redline which you said was your concern. After you gain traction from the start you don't seem to have traction issues from there on out.

o no I was talking about getting no traction from a stop or when rolling slow i get no traction when I hit the throttle. My tires don't stick well and i'm not sure how I should launch it in way that will stick and be quick at the same time.

What 1/4 mile strip are you talking about?

yeah it was 335I. yeah I have improved since my last time.

I know I will do better next time, I tried using triptronic on one shift (2nd-3rd gear) in my 2nd to last race and it pushed me to a 83.45mph trap speed. It shifted just right on my peak hp.

My last race I tried doing the same 1-2nd,2nd-3rd, but my car started to delay the shifts, it sucked. I still went into the 83's I guess I will need a valve body to respond quicker.

I'm learning something new each time.

yeah I am kinda close to it. It's in Irwindale close to the 210 and 605. about 15 minutes away from me. It's only 1/8, the Fontana race track is about 35 minutes away and it's 1/4mile. Anything running 13.99 @ the 1/4, requires a helmet.

Does anyone in socal know where I may be able to rent a snell 2000 helmet?
I'm seriously trying to race the 1/4. If I can get a rent a helmet I can go tomorrow.

You should do way better than me. You have the valve body, the suspension, the tires, and more hp.

Considering you didn't even reduce the rear tire pressure (at least in the first race)...those are great 60' times and ETs.

Thanks... I don't know what pressure would be ideal for stock tires with about 25k wear on them. I don't want to go too low.
