Top speed limiter
Hm, does anyone have their top speed limiter removed? My friend and I are having problems trying to find it within the ecu. If so, how did you do it and what was your top speed? I can get to 160 in 5th gear at 7k rpms, and still all of 6th gear left, I'm trying to see how fast my baby can go but the damn ecu wont let me D:

did't the dyno tell you the speed of the car? Mine went to like 173mph at 8k rpms in 5th this was on 19" wheels. right now i am running 18" wheels with even lower profile tire and i think it got up to like 167mph in 5th at 8k.

Mm, my friend/ tech got the specifications for our cars and we couldn't find where the top speed limiter was.. How do you know it's removed if you haven't gone pass 160 yet arsh? As for the other guy who has the reflash, how fast have you gotten the HR to go?

I think it was on Tadshi's screen(MPH) but i wasn't paying attention to it. All i cared about was the HP and TQ numbers. And I guess i don't know 100% if my top speed limiter was removed because I haven't gone 160+ as you said but Tadshi told me it was removed and I believe him. He's not the type of person that would falsely advertise and somethign like a top speed limiter seems like a very easy job as every aftermarket engine management system seems to be able to remove it. And like 350zimo said, the dyno read his mph and his was 167mph, over the nissan governer

Only problem is that you're not moving on the dyno. There is going to be a drag to the car slowing it down.

I have the Technosquare reflash and Ive seen 168 before having to slow down coming up on other cars. I warped my rotors though while braking and the brake fade was hella scary. I wouldn't recommend it on stock(non-brembo) brakes unless you have ALOT of room to slow down. The car feels stable at that speed but you come up on traffic moving even at 80-85 extremely fast. Not something to do on a regular basis thats for sure.
