I just want to make sure if it gives gains in addition to the sound and if anyone has it on their HR.
(like Nismo).
Got a good answer?

Someone locally has it. It is very quiet. The engine sounds louder..

I don't understand why you are so concerned with horsepower gains. They make marginal gains, nothing you will feel. People should buy an exhaust based on how they want their car to sound.

If one exhaust made 2 more horsepower over the other, would you get that regardless of how it sounds??

Well my friend has the Nismo one and he found someone willing to sell the Evo one for $500 and so he was thinking about picking it up. To answer your question, sure I'd pick it up, as long as it didn't sound raspy.

while your post is mostly correct, its not 100% correct. Most exhausts won't make a huge power increase on a stock vehicle, but if you plan a major upgrade in the future like forced induction, then the exhaust choice can become more critical. No you still won't see a huge change if two exhaust are similar design and materials, but you can between different designs.

GReddy only makes 12 horsepower. You should get the HKS. It makes 14 horsepower and 16 lbs torque. I'm sure you will be ultimate fast with this exhaust.

Haha, good one.
Seriously though, exhausts can make a difference. Look at Evos, I'm pretty sure that exhaust choice matters and adds more than 1-2 hp.

if your vehicle is turbocharged then yes it matters more, compared to N/A vehicles.

I agree with you all. I was just pointing out to him that the type of exhaust system does make a difference depending on the car.
