Default HR Oil Temp

Anyone noticed how high it gets down on the track?

I know I come from a very hot and humid country but the oil temp gets really high.

I know an oil cooler is going to do the job but just wanna know what to get, especially if everyone here says its the engine's charateristic of being hot.

Oil temp? Unless you've put a gauge in your car that didn't come from the factory, you don't have an oil temp gauge.

You have an oil pressure gauge and a coolant temp gauge.

I've been watching mine in normal driving (on the cobb AP) and it seems to be near 100C. I plan to try to get it hot this weekend and see where it peaks. As long as it stays under 125-130 its not really something to be concerned with.

Oh forgot to add that I do have an oil temp gauge.

Yup i see close to 100 degrees on normal drive and the oil temp rises really quickly....rather scary.

Well looks like its characteristics of this V6.
