I have the same exhaust, with a generic y-pipe. I don't seem to have this problem. How about unplugging the battery for like 15 minutes and reset the ecu. Maybe the damn thing will adjust itself to run smoother?

Other than that, the only thing different is the tp's... because I don't have that. Oh and the damn drop in's... should be getting them soon, ordered a little while ago... hopefully getting them soon.

pretty much like that like i can gun up from idle to 2700 then i have to release a lil till after 3100 then i gun it again. so the only way is to reflash?? my sensors might be broken would that cause it?

You need to put the non fouler fix on your car, and then stuff the non foulers with brillo padding. this will fix your cel from coming on and stop your bogging.

^^

I don't think his bogging is coming from his O2 sensors. They have no effect on the engine, they are simply sensors that can trigger a CEL. That's it.

I have Berk HFCs and I had the bog happen to me ONLY once. I gun the car all the time and it happened only once when I was passing a slow driver. I have never had my CEL come on either..

I bet the OP needs some kind of tune..

hmmm, odd because mine did it for a while till i had put my non foulers on, doesn't the cel put the car in limp mode. because once i cleared my cel, i never had it happen again. also i might have miss read that info on the cel. but im giving him the fix for the cel anyways =D

i had non foulers on before and it didnt help at all.

HFC r not the same as test pipes. most pll with HFC's dont get this bog. there has to be some way of fixing this without turning it into a big thing

.
i would have to agree with him on this one. throwing that cel will put your car into limp mode and i bet thats the problem. If he can get that cel issue fixed in anyway then that should fix his problem.

I had these tp's on my 07' Z before the OP, then I sold it to the OP. I didn't have non foulers and the check engline light was on. The car always had a bogging feel with test pipes before a certain rpm but that's normal. You'll always feel that + torque loss, if you don't like it, put your stock cats on or get HFC's. It's a simple concept, either deal with it or change your parts.

Yea i have that problem too with test pipes. Feels like the rpms hold at bout 2.5 -3k. Then after about 2 scnds the rpms start flying and the car is amazing. But its at the certain rpm range. Because if I'm punching it and shifting where the rpms drop but stay above 3 I never feel the bog again.
