3k RPM bog
Did anyone solve this bog problem... I have hesitation when I step on it under 3k as well... Has anyone else confirmed the knock sensor above, or what is the deal? I have exhaust and intakes, no tp or HFC's... I wonder if it has to do with the increased flow from aftermarket exhausts not giving the correct bp to the engine?
The bog you guys are getting at lower rpm's could be due to decreased back pressure (back pressure actually helps to increase torque at lower rpms). The spark plug non-foulers should have no effect on how the car will run as the post cat. 02 sensors read only catalyst efficiency which have no result on engine performance, the front air fuel sensors however can cause a lot of driveability issues. I installed the kinetix hfc's on my car and the hesitation feels like a dead miss at high load under 2500 rpms but clears up after a few seconds. There is also rumor of a lean condition when bogging but ive noticed the exact opposite my car seems to run rich in this condition 10.5 to 11.4 a/f ratio. It only happens intermittently but my cobb tuner can data log so Ive been trying to record what is going on its just a matter of time before i catch it.... I will keep you guys posted as to what I find.
