So let me get this straight, you don't send in your ECU, instead, you record some 0-60 runs and email it to UpRev, then from that data, they email back a tune, which you install yourself with a laptop?

I'm also worried about getting an UpRev tuner here in the Mid-A. I heard that Function Tuned was talking to them, but heard nothing for quite a while. they are my garage of choice (and for many other VA and MD folks).

I know a guy named Luther from MD, he went to FT to install & tune a UTEC with some JWT cams. Last I checked the UTEC wasn't running so well and Dave was going to get a Osiris tuner version for Luther's car. That might be the ticket for the Mid-A guys.

If I'm not mistaken, I thought the COBB Tuning Access Port allow you to tune and make adjustments through a controller, also with the ability to change maps as well. The attached controller also is supposed to show readings, such as A/F ratio, exhaust temp, ect.

I'm not trying to down any other ecu manufacturer, it's just what I read in the forums.

no you cant tune yourself with cobb, you can DL maps from them and if you have a cobb tuners near you they can tune for you, but you CANNOT tune yourself.

Cobb can not be really compared to UPREV. It is limited in what it can tune compared to UPREV. You can adjust everything with UPREV. You don't need e-manage, etc with UPREV, you can do all that.

I went by and checked it out today solo. I'm not sure if it was your dyno sheet but the curve is really smooth in the higher rpms now. I talked to rich for 20 minutes or so. For everybody thinking about Cobb ap, you might like to know that jared at uprev was the one that developed the program a few years ago.

Thanks for the update. Curve should be smoother and hopefully higher by a nice amount. Do you remember the power?
