Default My VQ35HR is with UPREV for a week

YAY! They are developing the tuning for the HR engine and wanted my car for a week to come out with it! So they currently have it now till next Saturday.

Not long boys and girls till we have UPREV for tuning! I can't wait to see what kind of results they get from the HR!

Thought I let you guys know. I will keep you posted if I hear anything.

All ECU companys are great, just some do it differently than others. www.uprev.com Or search here or g35driver for uprev. Basically in a quick explanation, they program your ECU and tune your car with your stock ECU and you can have up to 5 maps where you can easily switch between them with the cruise control buttons. No need to crack the ECU open for this like Technosquare, etc. Also for FI applications, no need for added management devices, UPREV can do it all with the ECU. Also any mods you do, you take a data log on your laptop with their software, send it to them, they adjust the program and send it back to you and all you have to do is upload the new update and your ecu is now updated for the new mods.

Maps can be like this or however you want:

Stock
93 Octane Performance
87 Octane
Valet
Economy (for gas mileage)

That's like asking if HKS is better than GReddy..

They are two different companies that both offer nice products. It would be subjective to say which one is "better"..

BTW, list of modifications SOLO?

Stock NISMO other than drop in K&Ns for performance.

Interesting. Wouldn't UpRev be similar to Cobb's AccessPort, if they were to make a comparison? Also, if you don't have cruise control buttons, I assume there is some other device that you have to switch between the maps?

Per what I have read, if you do not have the Cruise control buttons you are stuck with one map. Do a google search on UPREV and Nissan and you will be amazed how much people like them.

+1, switching between maps at your fingertips sounds awesome, plus I like the sound of that valet tune, LOL.
