dynocom should be renamed dynoqueencom

i would probably have a 700whp car on dynoqueencom

mustang isnt as bad but its still pretty bad.

ever hear an s2k owner claiming 250whp stock... dynoqueencom!

What do you mean by that? Mustang Dyno's are the most reliable and accurate dyno's to date. That's also why they are called heartbreak dyno's... since dynojets, dynocoms, superflow windyns, superflow aerodyns, etc. all read higher. Correct me if I'm mistaken..

Dyno's should not be taken for bragging rights. They are tools that are calibrated differently everywhere. Used mainly for before/after tuning results.

Nothing wrong with dynocom. What would have interested me is if the OP would have done before/after dyno's on all his mods. Back to back on the same dyno to be accurate. It would have been nice to see exactly where in his power cure he gained power.

I completely agree with you, just wanted to make this thread to show how every dyno is different; also depending on calibration, but just to get an idea of where each dyno stands. I just need to dyno on a dynojet and a superflow and then I could compare all 4.

that's the problem. "should not be used" unfortunately they are and often customers get the wrong idea of how much power the shop's work actually gave them. they can also mislead other people into thinking that they can have a 350whp Z with simple bolt-ons.

I have only used 2 dyno's to date, a mustang and a superflow. The results of multiple cars and multiple tests were that the mustang read higher every time..by a substantial margin.

Mustang dyno's are more effected by calibration that almost any other type of dynomometer. That's why most of the time they are considered the most accurate, but can show significantly higher or lower numbers than other types of dyno's depending on how they are calibrated. I'm surprised you dynoed higher with the mustang dyno than with the dynojet, but they are both probably quite accurate. Different days, different temps, different humidity, etc. can change numbers.
