The tuned turbo rex is very fast, most will kick a stock Z in the bollocks and we wont even see them coming. This was supposed to be about a manifold though. Nice Rex anyway!

I have had DSM and a 89 Starion both were big turds. The starion had a number of unexplainable issues. From windows rolling back up and not wanting to go down (even though the solenoid and motor were perfectly fine) and the ac switching to heat directly afterwards. Then there was the alarm going off at like 4 a.m. for NO REASON. Mitsubishi build quality = crap. There assembly lines can be best described as : Raw material through entrance -> Junkyard on exit. Ready for the junkyard the minute they roll off the assembly line. My buddies Evo VIII has been nothing but headaches for him. From pressure plate failures to center diff failures and so on. Junk .... i don't care how fast they can be made.

If you are building a DSM be prepared for lots of drivetrain failures if you are trying to run that fast.

Don't fool yourself .. I had a buddy that spent over 12k on his 91 Talon AWD (he did run mid 10s) but had many rear ends fall victim and a dead tranny. Let alone the unexplainable timing belt tensioner failures. Mitsubishi builds junk that ends up in hyundais (FACT) lol.

The F/I kits currently available are expensive. My idea of doing it the right way is to have all the supporting mods to go with it. This includes clutch, flywheel, CSC fix, engine management, fuel system, brakes, etc.
Brakes hell let's throw some sparco seats and 5 point harnesses into the "necessary" costs. Tell me where the $12,000 most of these kits costs is going and I'll retract my statement. two $900 turbos, stainless hot aluminum cold, injectors, pump, hoses/lines and tuning software costing 12 grand? R&D only costs so much. PM me if you want to continue discussing this.

Start here bro --> http://www.alteredatmosphere.com/twinturbo/

Brakes aren't necessary but IMO they are needed with that much power.

Can you teach me how to read? Even though Revshift will start a new thread, there's no need to take this one off topic. By posting in the off topic section, you can get more replies and backup for your discussion.

Even if it wasn't "installed and tuned" the other full/tuner kits available are still expensive.

Not sure what point you are trying to make because nobody questioned your statement.

Then please explain. If I can do it cheaper with other products that are available, then I'd love to know how.
