If you are building a DSM be prepared for lots of drivetrain failures if you are trying to run that fast.

Don't fool yourself .. I had a buddy that spent over 12k on his 91 Talon AWD (he did run mid 10s) but had many rear ends fall victim and a dead tranny. Let alone the unexplainable timing belt tensioner failures. Mitsubishi builds junk that ends up in hyundais (FACT) lol.

You can be sick and tired all you want but there's a reason why you keep hearing it. How about maybe because it's true?
The F/I kits currently available are expensive. My idea of doing it the right way is to have all the supporting mods to go with it. This includes clutch, flywheel, CSC fix, engine management, fuel system, brakes, etc.

hell let's throw some sparco seats and 5 point harnesses into the "necessary" costs. Tell me where the $12,000 most of these kits costs is going and I'll retract my statement. two $900 turbos, stainless hot aluminum cold, injectors, pump, hoses/lines and tuning software costing 12 grand? R&D only costs so much. PM me if you want to continue discussing this.
