Remedy:

As long as the air bag doesn't shoot out for no reason. That would suck..

They told me mine wasn't affected, I found a petite female to sit in the seat, airbag "off" light illuminated, asked why my system didn't work, tech's scratched their heads.

Attempt 3 with them saying "Everything functions" and me going....no - it obviously does not.

Mine does the same thing. Some of those Nissan tech's are complete morons.

My GF weighs like 120lbs and the same thing happens when she sits in the car. It seems as if the computer doesnt sense that she is there.

Same thing happened to my GF?? Then it also turned off with my cousin in the car, but he is 6'2 and like 300 lbs???

They better replace it for me, i'm going tomorrow first thing!!! This is a huge safety issue!!

Thanks again to MY350Z Members for giving me a heads up on issues, God forbid Nissan contacted me about these kinds of things

Cheers

Kevin

I went to my dealership in the winter time, because my drivers side window started to malfunction. It started going down slowly and sometimes would just stop working. Ever since its worked almost 100% properly about a total of two times. It rolls up and comes back down half way, unless I tap the window button slowly. The service writer was giving different reasons why it wasn't working, but it seemed like he was too busy to deal with me. He said if the warranty didn't cover it, I would be charged with a diagnostics fee. He said it could be due to cold weather, the rubber seals needed re-lubing. Then the other day Nissan called me to extend my warranty, and I spoke to someone about it. They told me to go back and it should be covered under warranty. What do you guys suggest I do?

^^^wow the same thing happened on my '06 drivers side window..... it only happened when it was above 60 F or so... I thought I was the only one with that problem. I talked to the dealership and they said they looked at it and could not find anything wrong. I have since gotten a new '08 and it hasn't done it to me yet. "Cross's Fingers"
