FYI I just talked to a rep at Stillen who said they are most likely going to be working on a supercharger for the HR as soon as they finish the one for the 370z -which should be done in a few months. So keep your fingers crossed and we will see in a few months if anything starts to develop from them. In the mean time I am considering trying their Gen 3 long tube intakes (see my other thread on those).

^imma bet they're supercharger is gonna be about the same as the one for the DE, 50 whp absolute max, with the average being 30 whp gain...

i hope they prove me wrong, but i don't think they will...

Why does everyone keep asking about a stillen SC of all the companies to ask for. Have you guys even seen the shitshow made for the DE? Would you honestly buy something from a company that produces a SC that useless?

cause they're the only ones (to my knowledge) that actually said they're working / planning to work on an SC for the HR engine

yup.. and the maxima went from 170 whp to 265 whp on stock pulley.. i think some people went as far as 350 whp with smaller pulley's... thats a good 180whp over stock .. but i wouldn't hold my breath on Stillen doing that to the Z .. the already failed with the DE .. then Vortech has their own kit for the DE so i doubt Stillen will do it again with a Vortech Blower. just sad the Maxima Stillen Kit made 95whp over stock and the Z made 20 whp over stock

well nobody makes a kit for the hr, or the vhr for that matter, so maybe stillen will with a vortech unit. I hope they use a rotrex unit though (knowing that chances of that are slim to none)

Revshift said their making an intake manifold for the hr. You should buy it since they are the only ones who said they are making it...

honestly, i'd buy it because it's a very conservative build. I won't have to worry about blowing my engine or anything going wrong.

But, i wouldn't hold my breathe. I used to call stillen all the time about the supercharger and they would always say, a few more months, a few more months.

damn dude, how took the jelly out of your donut?... i just told you why everyone is on stillen's nuts about the SC, cause you asked why right here:

and just for the record, stillen has a slightly better rep than revshift. nobody's ever heard of revshift before, while stillen has been making parts for nissan's since the mid 90's (that i know of, not sure when they started). so stillen's word is a bit more concrete than revshifts...

that being said, i'm not really holding my breath for an SC kit from them. if they make it, then they make it, if not, then they don't... doesn't affect me to much either way...

have you been reading? amount of hp doesn't mean that your engine will be safe... Stillen SC on the DE even though has never made more than 350whp has blown more engines than any other supercharger

You probably have a better chance of getting the GTM supercharger kit for the 370Z to fit if they finish with theirs.

the stillen kit for the DE made little power bc the compressor they used was way too small!!

If they used a M90, then you'd make alot of power. you just need a hood scoop to fit.

Just go to the 370 area in this forum and go to the Forced Induction page. It's at the top.
