I called stillen like two weeks ago asking about both pullies they sell. Well anyways my sales rep told me that stillen is making a sc for the hr but there isn't alot of information about it besides it "should" be out by the end of summer. Hope this helps you guys. Il just wait for dyno results to come out eventually and hopefully i can use my stock hood too.

Full bolt on HR Zs are making 318 i.e. A.H.'s car. Cost for HFCs, Headers, Tune, Catback, and Injen CAI is what $3 Grand less labor. Im looking for 375 to 425whp nothing more.
If I can get there with the Stillen SC for the HR with out changing the hood that is the avenue Im going to take.
thats not how things work, if a supercharge is good for 320 whp, then its good for 320 whp on almost any engine. its all about the total volume of air being displaced. the jackson racing kit for the rsx uses the same blower (m62 i believe), and guess what it maxes out at on a k20... you got it, 320 whp. a roots blower can only move a certain volume of air, if that volume is only good for 320 whp, then thats all you'll get, not matter how good the rest of the engine flows (and if the engine outflow's the blower, then the blower is actually a restriction).

Did the stileen rep tell you they are making a supercharger for the HR as in VQ35HR or VQ37HR?

Bump for a great thread!

VQ35HR- Stay tuned for another year or so before purchasing a turbo or supercharger this way you know the results and how others feel about the kits. Also dyno numbers and pricing will be nice to know once the stillen kit has been released. I someday plan to purchase the GTM TT for the HR. Best dyno results, plug-in-play reflashed ecu, etc...

Goodluck! Bump to keep this thread moving!

We definitely plan on making it work with 07-08 VQ35 motors. That would be the ultimate goal. Unfortunately we have no guarantees until we have more time for testing and development.

I hope to have more information around the end of the year.

Thanks!

^^^ That's fair man, i'm just curious how the HR would respond to the supercharger. You know, just for some contrast and comparisons... and just one more option for us HR guys and gals

yeah, once real prices are disclosed i bet i can throw in some of my emergency money i have on the side to help me out on my F/I problem that needs to be resolved lol i need F/I but all the turbo cars that my family (brother) has owned run like poop in Colorado, we spend most of our time in the Green Mountain and in Silverthorne (6,000- 10,000ft above sea level) turbo's just can't pull in air... a S/C would solve my problem, but i need to see ACTUAL prices to see how much i'm going to use up

If it does come out this summer, it would be so nice. I hope it's going to be carb legal like the one for previous engine. Living in CA....very hard to modify anything.
If they meet those two requirements, sign me up. I'm ready for FI.
