test pipe/hfc hesitation
Ok so let me first say sorry if this question has been answered time and time again. But I've noticed reading some of the threads a lot of people experience this hesitation that really had me worried. I am running aam test pipes, y pipe, and single exhaust and I've noticed whenever I nail it I get a lot of hesitation anywhere below 3k unless in first gear. What's the deal? What causes this? And would a tune help rid the problem or do I need to put my cats back on?? Thanks guys.

+1 to running lean, do you have a cel yet?? This happened to a majority of the members when just installing test pipes with stock exhaust. Happend to me also but once i got a true dual went away completely, would defiantly get rid of most of it with a tune or buy a true dual

I am running a 3in single. And yes the test pipes caused the cel to come on within 3 days of installing them. I have considered getting a true dual exhaust custom made. But I really like the look of the single. But I've def noticed I lost my low end power for better top end and I miss that. Guess its time for a change.
