good idea or bad on the 07z

It doesn't seem like you know much about or have much experience with bolt-ons on a 350z.I would say I have decent experience.

i did and i dident beleave it at first but when i got on the car for the first time i felt it sliping i talked to the dealer and they wanted nothing to do with it they told me (thats what you get for buying a used car) i hit the roof when they said that to me
2nd opinion:
Waste of money as well. The test-pipes and intake shouldn't have been bought. They just add noise and reduce low-end torque and screw up your power curve. Suspension and rims would be the ideal first 2 choices for this car. Sound system and tint would have been better choices as well. You want performance, turbo(s) or supercharger should be looked into. Basic engine bolt-ons won't cut it with this car.

Anyway OP, intake and TPs are good start as far as breather mods go. I'd look into buying a decent cat back then think about the Uprev tune to make sure everything is being used to its full potential. After that, or even before you do that stuff, you should look into some suspension parts. If you don't want to go nuts spending money you can get quality springs with a moderate drop for a couple hundred bucks. You can also get good front and rear sway bars for 300-400 bucks. I'm still using the factory clutch/flywheel so I can't really comment on that.
Bolt-ons definitely aren't a waste on our cars. The HRs respond nicely to simple breather mods, take it from me. Jiggy makes good power with his HR with bolt ons too.

OP - that clutch is going to be nasty for the street. Unless your stock clutch is toast, why are you changing it out of curiosity?

OP - Just go to Z1, everything he said is factual... and it's not so much about the 'sacrifices' for better gains... you have to have a goal, do you just want more power for DD or do you want to track/drag etc? If you are going to use this as your DD it will probably get annoying, fast.
That's what most of these guys are trying to allude, you must have a purpose to your mods or else you will quickly find yourself not only burning money but backpeddling potentially and less than gracefully enterting the 'oh I wish I hadn't' threads.
Decent parts though, minus the TP's which won't work as stated.

yea i have a goal one thing i am not trying to do is make a strip car its a dd. and you where right about the tp z1 i had tyed in the wrong info however the one i got will fit its made for the car. made by turbo XS
