Default My latest Dyno #'s

Well needless to say I can't compare them to my last set of pulls. They are significantly less. The weather was cool and damp! Pouring rain which may have affected results to some extent Rain was getting into the cooling fans of the dyno and misting into the bay.

Also accuracy was key this time. So there is no wild corrections.

Hard to read the #'s (maybe it's me running off 3 hours of sleep) congrats either way. You kind of sound dissapointed though..

Dyno was:

296 WHP
241 WTQ

My previous dyno was without Injen CAI's & 4.08 gears. I'm pretty sure the pulls were done in 5th gear.

Just means I have some more work to do. lol

I'll prolly pick up GTM resonated TP's & Nano Nitrous system next.

I think you are on your way to the Dyno Racing Championship.

is it me or does it seem like all HR owners are allergic to Dynojets? out of the 10+ HR dynos ive seen maybe one has been on a the most common dyno on the planet.

nexx why do you have a chip on your shoulder towards HR owners? It seems like at every opportunity you get, you bash on the HR. Look, we get it already. Some members liek SOLO think the HR is godly, but its not everyone.

and FYI if you look in lee_dfw's thread about his HR numbers he used a dynojet. I also posted my own dyno in that thread that was also from a dynojet. Sometimes other dynos are more available to other people than a dynojet.

Nexx is like a racist towards HR owners. Just because of a few thick headed HR owners, but mainly SOLO, all of sudden ALL of us think the same way.

Thanks! Yes the Mustang is readily available to me! Performance Motorsports is the closest place that is an UpRev Dyno tuner and yet it is still a 4 hr drive one way!

These #'s are basically uncorrected.... They don't get anymore accurate then this. My previous dyno was 313 WHP and now without correction its 296WHP! Anyone who wants to argue. I say shut your pie hole. There is way to much whinning about who uses what dyno!

At some point before winter I hope to get some vids up. Car runs great.

Just checking, but you do know gears don't add any horsepower, right? You sound disappointed, and I didn't want you thinking your numbers should be higher for any other reason than the CAI's.

No worries. I'm aware the gears don't add HP. I was just looking for solid gains from the Injen CAI's but didn't get what i was looking for.

I choose to have the car dyno tuned after install vs having a before and after Dyno + tune done.

I'm happy with the performance gains. Sounds great/pulls hard! What more could I ask for

Yes without Test pipes. Using Crawford HFC's.

I'm just alittle disappointed. I really wanted to see what gains could be achieved with the Injen CAI's.

Install of the Quaife diff was far from smooth. I had to stay an extra day in L.I. while they machined the diff to properly clear.

Roads were flooded in area's on the drive home. Had to drive through 1-3.5" of water or more. I took it slow. Fearful of shoving that water down the new intakes. Weather here in the Northeast sucks *** lately! Nothing but rain!

I browse these numbers and those numbers that about these hr motors. Dynos are so all over the place.

What about the old 1/4 mile test. Once you get out of the hole. The car should run the same and not matter about the driver.

I wanna see how these 300 + whp hr's are doing at the track.

Very poor tool for comparative performance.

2 vehicles - same day - same dyno are comparable. Seems that the dyno crowd and 1/4 miles crowd are just as enthusiastic about their "sport." Both are always looking for better numbers. Diference being that the 1/4 racers must actually DRIVE the car.
