Default Clutch question?

Sorry guys but this question was probably asked here before but I need to know from everyone experienced out there. Sometimes on a cold day or driving off after turning the car on to warm up during double clutch or downshifting (racing) my clutch remains stuck on the floor and I end up just revving and going no where. I have this problem with and without the vdc on. Mods on my 07vq35hr are intake, headers, and full exhaust and it has 40k mi. Any answer would be of great help to me. I think it might be that my clutch is giving out but I need to find out from everyone else here. THANKs

Thanks for the replies nissan brothers. What effects does the slave cylinder do to cause the clutch peddle not to return? and could there be other possibilities or is it just a normal reaction of some Zs to have that happen?. I saw on [Best Motoring] video {Mines 350z} having the same thing happen too while they were racing and the pros couldn't explainit either.
