They make Dogsh1t in boxes.

2007 Base model and the headers that I have on now are for a 03-06. I have not seen any long tube headers made for a 3.5 VQHR. Fast Intentions does make long tubes for an HR but thats on the 3.7 model.

SG headers are going to run around $1,700

Worth it? Nope.

are you thinking about getting the long tube headers or have you already ordered them? Because if you are I would suggest that you find out if you can meet up with the seller and check it out before you buy just in case. I did find mine on ebay from a power seller but when I saw that he is located about 15-20 mins away from me I asked if I could just pick it up instead of waiting and paying the extra $35 for shipping which would be pointless and he said ok.

i bet you'll get more horsepower per dollar with the SG longtube than you will with the obx or whatever other generic crap out there.

people often confuse "I can't afford it" with "it's not worth it" (or the former as justifcation for the latter)

nothing is wrong with "I can't afford it" btw - it's just a fact of life

IMO, and not to offend any one on this board in any way, it's a brandname thing. While I do understand that with SG's LTHs, their R&D is much more intense and much more hands on. I do not see a problem running a Megan product, or *gasp*, even an OBX product(would I do it? no, but more power to ya if you decide to), if these companies did in fact release shotty products that wouldn't perform as advertised, how long would they have been in business? Somebody feel free to correct me on this one, but wouldn't exhaust manifold primaries be restricted to a certain size to match up with the heads, with the collectors, way they merge, and piping size/type being the only difference?

Sup people's, just wanted to share something that I so happen to stumble across yesterday while I was searching for stuff for the car. Its a thread talking about headers/exhaust from the G35 forum that I find interesting and it was posted not that long ago. Maybe you guys probably have seen it already but for the ones that haven't here is the link - http://g35driver.com/forums/intake-e...-thoughts.html

so DE LTH fit and HR engine with minor frame rubbage!

^^^

is that a true statement? I think I read that the headers fit just your gonna have th same DE cats to mate to it so that it mates to the y-pipe some where aswell....so it should be a true statement...

amazing!

no, it varies header to header...some may fit, some won't.

Also, that LTH won't utilize a conventional cat setup (if any) since the header connects directly to the cat-back system.

So, like Adam stated, the problem you may run into is with the steering rack.
