the only reason im adding those in is i wanna do the road course at english town and ive been hearing bad things about over heating and boiling atf ect... i just wanna make sure i down have to spend more money if i break somthing that could have been prevented with $500 or less because spending 500 prevention is better then spending 5000 repair.

i will eventually be doing tt down the road but thats a few years from now.

i love these kinds of threads. thanks for letting us know your "setup to come". lol. why do people feel the need to let us know what is "to come".

how about posting up when the mods are actually on the car? let us know what you like about the mods and what kind of gains got.

i have always run royal purple and a mobile one oil filter.
im aiming for 320whp all motor and 420+ with spray.

i know for a fact your not going to get 320whp with those mods. if you want to stay NA, your going to have to invest more more than just buying a TT Kit.

I personally adore NA. But the HR is no LSx.

Get test pipes and exhaust. See how you like it then.
Set up a budget for NA (in order to get 320whp)

cams + (cam timing unit of some sort)
pistons (fukc it, why not just do GTM's stoker kit)
rods
valvetrain
valvebody
headers
CAI
test pipes
exhaust
dyno tune
install price (unless you do it yourself)

Or TT Kit
$7,500 + install


by the way,
i've got injen CAI, stillen headers, stillen HFC's, motordyne gammaExhaust,
and that only put me at 262whp. a tune would probably give me 8whp.

a 125 shot of spray would put me at 370ish whp...

Only 262whp with those mods doesn't seem right. HR's dyno close to 260whp stock.

i already have testpipes.

this will all mosty be done end of the summer - mid spring.
everyone at my school doubted me for getting a 350z and then sr. year when i rolled up in the parking lot they were all put to shame in there civics and other pos the only other nice cars some students had was a ford f 350 harley lifted to the sky and chipped but his dad gave it to him
clk benz birthday present 06 sti grandma and dad got it for him.
i had one of the nicest cars and i paid for it myself no one expected it and u will see when i am destroying the tracks.

i also do all my own work

i have also rebuilt a 89 surpa 7mgte motor
i have also done motor swaps in a 94 teggy ls->gsr with full
94 civic gsr
95 jeep diff replacement and tranny swap
i have far more automotive experience then many of the other members on here

I'm 19, done a hell of alot more stuff than that (mechanical wise) .. yet I dont go around saying I know more than everyone else


as for all your mods "to come"


pretty sure your 350z will end up one of the following first -

A) Crashed
B) Ragged out from racing, beating, and burnouts in the High School Parking lot
C) Keyed to hell after pissing someone off with your P.A "mod"
or
D) All of the above


.. come back when you actually buy the parts and have 320hp


...................

and in case everyone didnt know .. im a cool 19 year old who paid for my car and I know more than everyone on this lame forum and going to have a quad turbo kit on my 07 Z with 2000 hp by next summer

Bigger's get that Biatch tuned! The elevation with your current Mods most likely has your AFR out of the sweeet spot!..

they dyno #'s from my friends 08 350z are 318 WHP
and 252 pounds of torque on a dyno dynamics dyno

LOL at the OP.
My HR has every single BOLT ON out there and technosquare tuned it for 100octane. I hit 302whp on a heart breaking dyno! If i were to go to the dyno where i went the first time i would have probably hit 315-320whp (on 100 oct). So you goal is unrealistic. Stick with a 280-290 whp number! lo
