Same boat, but why would you guys wonder if it will work well. Cooler + VB Upgrade + Boost has shown to be perfectly reliable on our 5ATs. 400WHP is no problem for this tranny as long as the precautionary steps are taken.

Congrats, looks like you need to update your sig then. I would go to Hills Garage or Function Tuned for the tune. Did you order the jwt clutch/flywheel combo? There are some better options out there that address the CSC issue.

I'm having my S/C kit sent without the engine management cable because I already have the UPREV engine management cable.

Yeah I ordered the combo.... the only reason I stuck with the csc was mine is making noise and still under warranty, I befriended a tech at the Nissan dealer and he said he would install the clutch/flywheel for free while he was in there. You can't beat free labor. it will just save me the time I would have to spend replacing the csc myself. If I have any other problems with the csc I will do the switchover. Thanks for the recommendations on tuners.

From what I've read the JWT clutch/flywheel combo isn't much different than the stock clutch/flywheel. The CSC is making noise? I've never heard of that. Are you sure it isn't just the flywheel chatter? Once you install the JWT combo you'll be throwing that warranty out the door.

There is a difference between the jwt and stock main differences are lighter flywheel and the pressure plate has much higher clamping force. I like it bc it is still a single disc thus less chatter. And my csc is making noise (the throw out bearing is actually part of the csc) I couldn't imagine why a stock flywheel/clutch would chatter. I already have 26k miles on my z so keeping the factory warranty is not a concern otherwise I would not have bought the supercharger kit. I did put a good deal of thought into my decision to go with the jwt set. If I have any other problems then I will make the switch over.

Yep, but if you want to get a comprehensive combo without redoing the csc assembly etc go with southbend, seems to be the only company that's willing to guarantee no issues and increased capacity for the torque / higher clamp force.

I guess what I meant to say was... "I can't wait to read reviews of this, and hope someone does it on a 5AT"

I have a 2008 Infiniti G35S 5AT and I have already ordered the S/C kit. I plan to do the Transgo V/B upgrade and trans cooler install during the same time I do the S/C kit install. I'm praying the 5spd AT will handle the power, if not I will eventually be looking at the tranny upgrade. I wonder who the best shop is:

http://www.levelten.com/SearchResult...6&Redirected=Y

http://www.517trans.com/catalog/18a.php

http://www.importperformancetrans.com/nissanre5.shtml

Also looking for a good trans cooler for the price.

Sam any news on when this kit will be listed? Understand you may still be in the process of getting it flush with the hr, maybe a status update?
