Cool More updates with pictures, please.

Sam,

I understand that you are a very busy man. You should look at our point of view; some of us have paid the full $5000 up front, it would be reassuring to get updates and pictures more than once a month (3/27). I have total confidence in the end product GTM will put out or I would not have paid the money upfront, but it is still hard to spend $5000 blindly and assume everything is going to meet expectations without any updates or pictures.

I totally understand what you are saying, the last thing we want to do is let anybody down.We appreciate the confidence and rest assure we will meet your expectation . Few things you have to remember that the 350z HR kit was an extension of our 370Z kit so just because we are not posting any update everyday, that does not mean that there is nothing being done. both kits share a lot of parts and we are working very hard so we can meat our dead line. Our intention was to have the dyno results couple weeks back but since we had to make new power st brackets we are running behind . the brackets are done now and all we have to do is to get back on the car, finish the install and go on the dyno . This will definitely happen in the next few days .

So expect pics, Dyno results, some 0-60 and 1/4 mile vids in the next 10 days .

When the '08 is paid off... this just became my most desired next purchase.

Thanks for the HR-love, GTM.

Quick question:
Is a system like this under vacuum while just cruising or is it always in boost? Cruising down the freeway I would rather be under vacuum and not have to have any pressure like a roots style would...
Thanks

I'm 51% sure it will not be under boost during coasting situations.

What would be nice is to be able to boost by gear like the turbo guys... But I don't see that ever happening less we could automate pulley changes under the hood.

I'm pretty sure all centrifugal SC will be under vacuum (not boost) when cruising. My HKS SC is this way and others Vortechs do the same thing. I don't see how the Rotrex would be any different.

Checkout the video of the GTM VQ37VHR S/C kit on www.the37*z.com PG30 post # 441 it is sick how nice it is. Plus the video will answer your vacuum questions as far as cruising at low RPM.

Also read PG32 post # 479, Sam is building a incredible S/C kit and I do not mind the extra wait for a quality kit.
