I couldn't really find any information that pushed me towards one as opposed to the other, but I finally did. I think I'm going with the stillen G3's as well.

I'm a fan of the blue AMSoil filters. Dry and basically no maintenance. Knock the dust off after 6months, replace it after a year. AMSoil claims they flow better to boot. Oiling, washing and the unavoidable build up of dust from oil particulates in the intake track is why I went dry in the end.

Agreed, K&N fails. But it's impossible to tell people that are on these boards that typically swear by K&N drop in filters.

+1 why deal with an oily messy filter that you can screw up by "cleaning" (using too much oil) when you could use something like aem dryflow filters

I do agree K&N aren't as great as everyone claims(at least in my opinion). I hear the injen install is slightly better also, maybe I'll go with them...

EXACTLY. Why I had posted this, now I'm debating again haha.

Install is mostly the same, both require the bumper off and horns moved. Probly boils down to the price you can get each for.

Good info on the filters too.

The stillen's require you to widen up the holes for the pipes to slide through though, do the injen's?

No, Injen does not. I cant see why Stillen would require this? The holes are plenty big.

I had a problem with the left tube rubbing the lock nut on my strut bar under load, but after some adjustment got it to clear.

If I were to do it again, I'd wrap the tubes with insulation before install.

yeah actually it should be the injen that requires you to widen. i had the injen and the silcone tube that runs thru the holes is squeezed. the stillen is not. so you end up with a nice bump in your injen tubing unless you widen in.
