Default What do I use to paint my exhaust?

Being a paint newb. I assumed powdercoat... But then again I know the exhaust temps get very high. So I figured I'd ask in here.

I'm getting the Fast Intentions Intimidator exhaust as I've heard it doesn't drone nor rasps and simply takes the stock sound and amplifies it as well as make it deeper.

Now that I have the exhaust what can I do to make the exterior of the tips Black?

I will not and do not want to paint the entire tip inside... Just the exterior of the tip is all.

Any special paint needed to be used? I know I'll have to take it somewhere but not sure what to ask for.

Not many people paint their exhausts, but normal black high-temp paint will work fine.

I presume any manufacturer of high temp paint is fine?

Is powder coating the tips ok?

I jet coated my CX Lighting exhaust. Expensive, but great quality. IF you just get the tips it shouldn't be expensive. Google up jet coat, email them and someone will get to you. Great Customer Service. Check out my photo album got pics of my Jet Coated exhaust.

I used Space Age black. Comes out basically as a flat black

They have it in rattle cans too if you don't have a sprayer
