Qualified installers have had issues installing the GTM kit. See the post below from Rotors350z. Just pointing out the fact that there are fitment issues. This is not me taking a shot any shop. In fact, my fuel system is coming from GTM.

Yes, the "Down pipes needed to be modified b/c of the steering shaft getting in the way." does seem like an issue. Glad they were able to do an easy fix.

Yup read his entire post. Saw that he considered the Greddy kit. But I was answering the line I quoted when you stated:

Your one post just said over 500whp. When OP referenced GTM's stage 2, I threw the info of what the stage 2 is capable of. Didn't even care to look at Greddy and what it's kit is capable of but when you posted your first response w/o the 700 number 500 + could have been 501, 550, 600. No worries just a misunderstanding.

And as far as the fitment issues there were some. But talking with Dave and me asking how bad a problem it was, he mentioned that there are a bunch of other kits that has fitment issues as well. It wasn't only isolated with GTM's kit. He said it wasn't a big issue and worked through it with flying colors. Being in there everyday I photo documented everything and the finished product turned out very well, no zip ties or bent piping were used or harmed in my build. Got nothing to hide, I'll put it out there as it's seen but Dave's completed install on my HR and the photos I saw on the other thread don't look anything alike.

What are the "bunch of other kits that has fitment issues" for the HR? I'm glad Dave was able to work through it. I'm sure plenty of other shops have done the same.

Didn't probe that far into the topic. I was mainly concerned with my ride. Being an F/I virgin i was just looking to take care of the issues in front of me and hearing that he's experienced it before and worked through it helped with the anxiety

I have the greddy tt kit with injected performance stage 1 short block and 800cc injectors only running stock feed fuel system right now and 1 255lph walbro and kenne bell boostapump. I was running 540whp @ 15psi and 7 degrees of timing before the boostapump now I'm running 18psi on streets in 80 degree weather and about 12 degrees of timing haven't got back to the dyno yet to see what it's running now but car is not over heating at all with stock radiator but will be upgrading that soon...

When they say "other kits" also have fitment issues, I am sure they are talking about the other companys that do "in-house" manufacturing of the pipe bending, bracket welding, etc. If you want correct fitment, go Greddy.

When it comes to the 350Z and going TT, I can't understand WHY someone would go with a different company than Greddy.

Well, not my money, not my car.

My company Redline Time Attack car is Greddy because I trust them more than any other company that makes turbo "kits" for our cars.

i have had my GTM kit for over a year now. im pretty sure like me one other person were the first to get it which means length of time i have had it on and miles. I think i may have close to 10,000 miles on it right now and i havent had any major issues. I am currently at 503WHP on a little more than 9 1/2 pounds of boost. I love this kit and i would'nt trade it for anything
