Default 1200+horsepower VQ on the dyno!

HeadGames Motorworks and Performance Motorsports teamed up RAMS racing of the UK to bring a BIG boosted high horsepower VQ to life! Making 1269 horsepower and 808 ftlbs of torque @7200rpm, with a measly 28psi. This is only the beginning, trail stages of development, as a call for bigger turbo's, more boost, cylinder head porting valve job adjustments, and a host of other innovations will be taking hold in the next few weeks and months to make this a undeniable winning combination.

A few teaser pics

Nice......not news though...

Sound Performance made 1248 at the wheels (translates to about 1468hp at the crank).

glad to see other shops stepping up to the big leagues though...

yea...we worked with Sound Performance on that project as well. That car certainly makes some POWER! But that feat was not done at 28lbs of boost..This engine is not for a street car, and should top out at around 19-2000hp. As stated, development stages. Gotta build the foundation before you can build the house!

I have a video, haven't figured out how to post it.

I dunno...they did 1000rwhp in the 30psi range so not too far off...

but like you said, not apples to apples, this isn't for a street car and will certainly run up higher...

any specs on motor?

It's going into this http://www.bramsracing.com/350z/thecar09.php

It's still a 3.5 stock bore and stroke with a steel rod, custom Carillo rods, custom Ross pistons, I can't remember who's crank is in there..(we didn't build it) Darton East sleeved it. (Justice Racing Engines)

9K for now..till everything gets sorted out. Then we will see where it stops making power.
