Ya, that what i was thinking.
but uprev wont really do anything until they can reproduce the start up problem. When i was there he said he adjusted something, im guessing it was the idle table but it was still doing it
. Should i try to get cipher and data log the start up and send it to uprev?

It is normal most cars will idle up in open loop until the a/f sensors are up to temperature. Once the car heats up it switches to closed loop which allows for A/F corrections to be made by the ECU. This is normal for any car... the only tool the car has for adjusting the amount of fuel in open loop is readings from the MAF sensor. If it runs very poorly while cold it could be an indication that there is a problem with the MAF sensor(s) or even a faulty coolant temp sensor. I would have both of those checked but other than that it seems to be pretty normal. Hope this is some help.

well, yes i understand when the car is cold it needs to up the rpms up to warm up the oil and engine but for it to gargol(or choke w.e) that shouldnt be happening but that a good idea for the sensors to be check out. Should i go to nissan stealer ship? Or what would be the best way for checking out the sensors for free? or aka Under warrenty?
Mine does the same thing, i noticed it idles differently when running different oil weights 0-40 mobile1 vs oem. Suspect cold viscosity of the oil has a minute effect on startup idle.
I wouldnt chase sensors for this one.. but that's just my .02.

I thought the same thing but i use to use royal purple 5w-30 and switch to(after about 3 or 4 oil changes) to castrol synthec 5w-30 and idk maybe castrol is a tad lighter than royal purple, who knows. All i know is that when i turn over to 26k im doing the oil change 600miles early then what i planned and going with amsoil 5w-40(as recommended by a trusted shop owner that works on high end euro cars). O, also i did this one on the stock tune from the nissan factory and it still did this, so it either senors or the oil as uglyduc said.
Good call on amsoil 5-40, my experience with 0-40 syn produced lower than normal oil pressures at idle and noticably more engine noise. This was the main reason I went back to what nissan recommends... my engine runs noticably quiter and idles a bit smoother now. I'm tempted to try something in between like 5-40.. let me know how that goes.
