im determined to find a cure for it. i wonder if i can get berk to send me a blank set of test pipes without the hole drilled in the o2 spot and try starting out with a small hole. and work my way up. because that big hole seems to be the problem.

Why not just weld some metal around the base of the O2 sensor bung then where it meets the test pipe?
I think I'm gonna go ahead and get some test pipes and use the brillo trick for now...anyone have any pictures of how it looks with brillo in it properly and also do you use the non foulers along with the brillo?
Thanks
Thanks

its definatly not a fix, it is a temporary patch. but it does work and will lost a year if did correctly. thats why i am working on something as we speak.
Have you seen this? Kind of pricey but looks like it should work and be permanent and legit..

yes the amount of air being blown thru when you stuff with brillo before it works is very hard to blow thru. so that means that even that small hole is to big.
A year for a CEL fix that costs like 2 dollars is a pretty good bang for the buck. To anyone who says it doesn't work, you didn't do it right. You have to pack it tight, but too tight and nothing will get passed. If you had something to watch the O2 readings(Uprev, scan tool, ultragauges, etc.) It at least gives you an idea if your in the right direction.
