Some HR questions ... need answers??
Hi guys ...
Have a couple if questions regarding my HR zed ...
- colder plugs , do they make any difference and which ones are the best to go for? My car only has 12000 miles on it but part of me wants to change for a better product? Advice?
- also I've modified my HR a good bit:
Kinetix HFCs
Nismo y pipe back exhaust system
Stock hr y pipe
Stillen gen 1 intake
Uprev Osiris remap
Is there any thing else worth doing or changing for more power ... avoiding forced induction I.e. turbo and charging it.
Thanks in advance guys
Chris

Thanks Guys,
Ive also made other modifications ...
XYZ Coilovers
Ferodo pads all round
Its currently on Volk GTS Wheels 9.5/10.5
I am definately going for an ARB asap.
Would the Gen 3's make much difference? Power wise? I was thinking about them and possible an XYZ pipe with race cat?
For an N/A Stroker build what all parts do you need and what type of power would this achieve?

Check out GTM's website. They will ship international. They can also help you with tunes.
CAI's wont make much power but those Gen 1's are worse then the stock airboxs. Your pulling in engine heat from under the hood. Which is CRAP!

ditch the gen 1 intake and get the long tubes or stock air box with k&n drop in filters, also yes an xyz pipe is great. i have test pipes -xyz pipe with resonator and nismo s-tune exhaust and it sounds amazing with no rasp.

Just for the record, I don't know if they are on the shelf or not yet but NGK is now selling the plugs at their cost instead of HKSs costs because hks only had rights to them for 2 years and NGK made them to start with...once I find the part number again I'll post it but the colder plugs are only 6.99 instead of 24.99 now but I've went to a few autoparts stores and they didn't have them in the books yet...according to my friends source at NGK, they should be on every autoparts store's records soon...

Are all you guys recommending the gen3 intake actually running it yourself?
I'm surprised to see so many recommending it as most of what I have read said its not worth it. From what I've read some people actually experienced losses with this intake as the air has to travel longer etc. etc.
Anyone got some real proof if it's worth it or not?

I have gen 3 equivalent from injen. maybe 3 whp to be honest, but combined with other mods is when a difference is really made. Any mod alone doesn't do much, and if you have stock cats on, anything before it is generally worthless because the cats just restrict their potential...
