Default Aftermarket front strut bars?

I searched and only found that tanabe makes an aftermarket engine strut bar for the HR350z. Does anyone else manufacture one? Ive seen GTspec but they say it only fits the DE engines.

Thanks!

cool - then I guess Tanabe's brace fits an HR; they had previously told us it only fits the DE, though their site said up to 08 (I had asked em about it a couple weeks ago)

wonder if there is any rubbing on the engine cover

Yea kinda contradictory with their site. Same with gtspec. Says DE only but shows up to an 08

None made specifically for HR.

I test fitted with Cusco strut bar, but it wouldn't clear the engine cover. You can make it fit with washers though.

Thanks!
I have a Carbing front strut on my 03,
Specs say it fits THRU 08...
Since I installed a spacer,I imagine the problem of clearance is the
same as clearing the engine cover on a HR.
You install washers to give you the needed clearance.

The Carbing is top of the line--pricey!
But,you pay for what you get,I guess.

Check out my car pics at JCITY...TO see the Carbing strut.

Using washers isn't a smart idea because you might not have enough threading for that nut to tighten down on. The Company that produces the part should do their own R&D instead of customers somehow manipulating parts to fit.

Its just a strut tower bar...you could take it completely off and still drive the car...One or two small washers wont hurt anything...there is plenty of threads still available....
