.... really, 290's what OP posted are standard with Uprev reflashes. I did the same numbers, tried to hit the fabled 300RWHP.

I also forgot to say, different Dynos throw different numbers. example, a mustang dyno, superflow, and Dyno jet.
but those are good numberzs

Most of the Dynojet graphs posted here are using STD uncorrected vlaues, which in most cases yields higher numbers than SAE #'s. It would be nice to see more SAE correction values with smoothing on 5.

my mods are tanabe hyper medalion exhaust, tanabe ypipe, fast intentions tp's,injen cai

does anybody know if their dyno reads higher ?
No tune???

Those are very goods #s for Church. I did my dyno there..and got 307whp/266wtq. I have Osirus tune/Nismo intakes and Invidia Dual. No tp's though.
Church's dyno reads 8% high, since it's to the HUBS..not wheels. So, 323 WHP is about 300WHP on a dynojet..still very good #.

Why the smoothing on 5?

What's the standard for all this cause my numbers are on 3

The smoothing really only effects on how smooth the graph looks, and shouldn't have any effect on horsepower differences. The smoothing can be adjusted from 1-5 with 5 being the smoothest. I have seen graphs with 5 and some with 4. However, the differences between STD and SAE (the industry standard) correction factors can be 5-6%, which can easily show a car reading 20hp higher using STD corrections. I know all Mustang Dynos use SAE, but not sure about the others. Here is an interesting article I found regarding SAE and drivetrain loss.

Im getting ready for a dyno but im a little confused. I went on the uprev site and pulled up local dealers. I found one i like. My question is, do i just go to them and have them do their thing or do i have to buy a device/programmer from uprev first? And when i go to them will i walk out with something that i can use to switch back to stock or will it be my stock ecu being tuned? Ive been searching but all links i come accross lack any of this info. Im a noob to tunning ecu. Thanks

They will put the license on your Z and tune it if you purcahse the uprev. If you have cruise control you will use that to change maps. If not you will need the tuner package to be able to switch maps.

I just recently had my car tuned with uprev at dynosty. I have injen cold air intakes, aam test pipes, and hks hipower. Put down 274 whp and around 252wtq. I have heard that there dyno reads 12% lower then a typical dynojet. Very pleased with the results.

http://deteria.wordpress.com/2012/06...es-uprev-tune/

Tuned @ PRT Performance in DFW (Lewisville to be exact)

Mustang Dyno'd at 285 rwhp 260 rwtq after UpRev tune. Only performance mods were Motordyne Shockwave TDX2 + ART Pipes. Weather was around 100F in the shop + ~40% humidity.

It depends on the dyno lol... then again, all the #s are relative. One dyno may be X% lower reading than another.

Cuz if the dyno I used is ~ 10% lower than a dynojet across town, then technically my 260 rwtq = 289rwtq lol.

This is me I made a new account. But yea thats what it did. It was tuned by Doug Wilks from topspeed. I could may get more now > Since then I have done some things to make the car more efficient. I found that my injen intakes were pretty much being kinked to 50% of the air flow. I dont plan on dynoing it until the day the boost will be installed with is a ways off. Maybe I just ot one of those good motors

Damn I cant wait to tune mine. I have a 1k break in time on my TZR clutch. People are reaching the 300whp with mods simular to mine. I still need to call and see who dose it and is the best in the NJ/philly area.

Injen intakes
motordyne TDX2
ART test pipes
14lb flywheel
TZR clutch, HD slave
uprev
