Bolt on dyno tune results
I lurk on here alot, but I recently got my z tuned at UpRev in Austin and thought I'd share the results with the community. I know when I was trying to decide what to buy I liked to see what people were pulling with different combinations of parts. So heres mine;
07 41k miles
Injen cai
bassani exhaust
gtm non-res pipes
osiris tune

(101F, 30% humidity, 29.31 inHG)
I dont have a base dyno, I had a etune with just the intakes and exhaust. the pipes threw off my afr as you can see. Im way happy with the numbers especially with the outside conditions being so shitty.
Thanks to jared and rich for the tune, car runs great.
also got a vid, enjoy

@ hellsoldiers08. I dont know how new it is, I know it was there when I picked up my cable from them earlier this year.
@bmccann. aside from certain stand alones osiris is definately some of the best software Ive seen. after I got my etune i did a few runs with my laptop and was amazed how clean the numbers were. And yea I see alot of people disappointed with the 'feel' of their mods and they havent touched their ecu. With the pipes and tune the car has so much more torque now. from a stand still 1st and 2nd are useless. gonna need rims and tires soon!

Oooo this is exactly wat i want to see. Got full exhaust, hfcs, and prolly guna get some intakes soon. First thing im buyin in the spring is uprev and i hope i get some numbers like those.
Is the dynojet the one that is inflated tho?

I believe dynojet numbers are "accurate". Mustang is "low" and I believe dynapack is "high". I use quotes because there is no perfect dyno. Your best bet to see gains is to dyno stock then dyno/get tuned on that same dyno. Its really about total gains not your end numbers because they will always differ from dyno to dyno.

I'm honestly surprised you broke 300whp on a dynojet with those mods. I've seen guys with full bolt- ons minus cams barely hit mid-high 290s on the dynojet. Maybe only uprev has the magic touch lol
They do seem a tad high for a dynojet. I just dynoed my 08 HR ... a similar set up with Osirus, Nismo intakes and Gemini Dual catback..NO TEST PIPES. I got 306 on a Dynapack, which runs 25 HP higher (8%) than a dynojet. So, I *should* get around 280 on a dynojet. That's without the test pipes. I would think test pipes would add another 10HP (for 290HP). So, 300HP does look a tad high even with test pipes, BUT>>>> still it's credible for sure. It's hard to *bench dyno* like I'm doing and you can't arugue hard results like this. I found a dynojet in town and I'm going to run that with same set up I have now which is very similar to OP's LESS the test pipes of course.
