I would imagine the space would be the same. The chassis and exhaust systems are the same on upto '08.

To bad your not closer, I would also volunteer my car! I'll take a free ST I'm sure someone here will let you sponsor their car.

I've read around in regards to ST rear mount setups and wouldn't the extra length in piping cause a slight loss in boost meaning boost would need to be increased to match the loss? Also, just wondering how the oil and coolant lines would fare being run underneath and all? I'm interested as this should keep engine bay temps the same since the majority of the heat is underneath the car which means i wouldn't need to run a vented hood. But at the same time, wouldn't driving thru wet roads cause the fittings to rust underneath? Just some things i've been wondering when i was looking over the BP kit for the DE's

This is not a rear mount kit, it is a mid mount so a huge difference. With my DE mid mount kit there is less distance between the headers and turbo than with all the top mount kits. So, the spool is comparable if not better. There is also no restriction on the down pipe size with this, and the exhaust after the turbo is much shorter than with the top mount kits, where the exhaust is the full length of the car.

The oil is returned via Exa scavenge pump (best you can get with a 10,000 hour life cycle), through -6an stainless braided lines. Again, this is very different from the rear mount where they use cheap rubber hose, and a pump that is prone to failures. The Precision turbos I use are either JB (oil only) and the BB turbos do not require water lines as they are air cooled. With the turbo under the car, it gets a lot of cooling.

There is nothing that will rust. All oil lines are stainless, and so are the fittings on the turbo size. I have driven in rain storms without any issues at all.

All the brackets are also 304 stainless. This includes oil pump bracekt, extra exhaust hanger bracket, and FMIC brackets. Nothing will ever rust.

I don't mind mine being a donor if you arrange for transportation. I've been wanting to see a ST for the HR.

DO IT! It is only a 6 hour trip, and the drive back would be a lot more fun than the drive up.

Not yet for sure, but there is local that may be interested...we will see how it goes.

There is also a 370z owner that may jump on this as I have the same offer for that car. I think the engine bays are identical between the two, and the kits would be the same.

Pay for it, and I'll drive my nismo (Can also be the first nismo st kit) to you, leave it with you, fly home, then fly back out when its done. I get a free turbo kit, you get your product made, and start making money. We all win. What do you think?

^Serious, btw.
