Default Uprev Tune or NItrous

I'm sure this isn't in the right section. But my problem is that i am going to have some extra funds this week; and want to know should i order my uprev tune or my nitrous kit? Within the next two weeks i will buy the part that is left i just want to know which one i should get tomorrow.

And if you say nitrous should i order the Dynotune kit or Zex i read that a lot of people are having problems with the ZEX control box.

You need to tune the car in order to get the most of of your nitrous set up and for it to run correctly...

Uprev tune for sure, even if you do plan on spraying. NOS + no tune = boom

If you're set on getting a nitrous kit in the future, save up for both. If you get tuned first, you'll have to pay for a retune later when you get your kit installed, which will be based on an hourly rate. Might as well get it all done at once.

It sounds like you need to do a lot more reading about nitrous.

I am not suggesting nitrous unless you know how to use it. Get some good na trap times before you venture into spray territory...

with that said i have done a few nitrous cars with out a tune. a few things to consider when setting up.

1. run a colder plug if you want to run 75 plus shot.
2. go to a dealer and have them pull 1 or 2 degrees of timing.

I suggest a zex kit or something with a wot sensor so there is not accidents. Also, if you get a warmer get a pressure release valve atleast just in case you forget to turn it off. Nothing worse than coming out to a hatchless z.

You should get nitrous first along with colder plugs, install it at your leisure, then in 2 weeks get the uprev tune and have your tuner give you both an n/a tune and a nitrous tune.. Done.

Definitely do nitrous kit first and then tune. No sense on tuning before you put the power adder on
