The correct path would be no GTM flash and then an Osiris tune over the stock tune?

You can't just reset the stock ECU? It will continue to high idle?
It was a totally new license from GTM that I flashed on the car when I did the sc project from before... Aka John had a license and tune on my na build that I forgot to take the car to him to have him pull it off before I flashed gtms stuff... So I put a license with a tune ontop of another license with a tune... I hope that makes sense now... So essentially I lost my first license... And when all that happened it quote unquote got confused/fried something into its memory incorrectly...
That's the best I can describe what I honestly think happened...
John and Sharif tried countless times to reset it back to stock and it didn't fix the issue so thats my reasoning behind the whole frying/pressing something into its memory incorrectly...

All I can say to everyone is don't flash one license on top of another from Uprev...

So whats the best way to get around the high idle issue? Say "I" or someone else has an UpRev lic and the ecu is tuned for a full NA build. Then "I" or "someone else" purchases a GTM stage 1.5 SC kit and installs it. We should remove the ecu and trade/sell it for a stock one to then reflash with GTM's tune?!

Just trying to clarify this mess. Save some people lots of headaches!

I'm assuming GTM's tune is an UpRev map, if correct that leaves you with:

a) Reflashing one of your maps to their map using a tuner cable
b) Getting a tuner to do that
c) Getting a custom-map from your tuner / aka re-tune

I don't think there would be a need to have a stock ECU to reflash with GTM's tune. If anything, it should be cheaper for you since you already have an UpRev license and are just replacing one of your maps with GTM's.

Having read this thread, this seems to be an issue. Maybe other's can chime in.

I do not have a tuner cable or software. I purchased the Lic through a shop that dyno tuned the car.
