Be prepared for *** load of fitment problems. Honestly, I'd go with the Greddy because your gonna end up spending more on labor when issues arise. Atleast I did. And in my setup the steering knuckle was rubbing on the turbo housing even after spacing the engine up. My shop wouldnt mess with it due to liability issues, so I had to shave part of the steering knuckle down myself. And it's still having rub issues / unusual feedback through the steering wheel during certain types of driving. Most notably whenever the engine torques on downshifts. It still having issues, I'm gonna have to shave it down more. Basically it makes your driving experience feel like ***.
The power is great though.
Also, with a TT setup, I wouldnt go with the 3.9 gears. Basically those will make second non-existant with traction. Tractions already hard with my stock gearing, and the great thing about my power is the long gears / rpm range of the HR. I'd switch back to the stock gearing. And with the power you're gonna have, you're not gonna need the extra "go."
BTW, I'd compare the 20G greddy on the same exact power level as the GTM Stage 2.

Come on Nismo350z I have a loaded gun here and I need to pull the trigger here and here you are pointing me in different directions. This is what I was thinking GTM stg2 with stock internals or GTM stg1 with forged rods and low comp pistons. Money is tight... LOL the wife only let me take out 10K so I need to use it wisely. Give me some pointers/tips.

Well that single turbo kit is beautiful but I have not found one that has the kit and written a review on it on how stock internals are holding up. Besides they quoted me 10K and still need to ship my car to their shop In Florida and back to me because its an In house build. I wish they would sell the kit to the public.

deal with rattles and rubbing, etc etc. Once I work out the knuckle issues more and replace my diff / suspension bushings I'll be good.
The best way to install GTM is to remove the engine. Greddy, from what I know, you don't have too. Any reputable shop its going to run you $5k-$7k to install either. You're looking at at least $15k to go FI. Looks like you are ahead of the game with the clutch, oil cooler and diff bushings. But you'll also need a full 3" dual exhaust to realize all the power and some sizable DR tires to get the needed traction.
Edit: cliff notes: GTM, look for cheaper cost and great power but questionable Fitment. Greddy look for higher cost, great power and flawless Fitment.

My shop already quoted me $2300 for the install. And the kit will cost around $8000 shipped so I believe I'm good. What do you think about the stock internals I also have a 3.3 diff laying in My room so unready to swap that in to.
$10k won't work no matter which one your going with. You could contact GTM and see what type of shipped package deal they will give you, including injectors, fuel pump and gauges. I got a really good deal for everything shipped to my door. Just be prepared for Fitment problems and at least 10 weeks of wait time. Also, people have tried going colder spark plugs. Don't bother, HRs have 1 step colder than DEs from the factory. But like I said, the Greddy is going to run you more but Fitment is going to work flawless and your not gonna have to

$2300 lolz, don't know why the hell they quote that. Have they ever done GTM install, bc after they lose their *** on the labor they won't be putting out that low price anymore. I remember when I first got a quote from a great shop in NC. They only did a couple GTM installs and quoted me $3k. I came back to them a few months later after they installed several more and were losing their ***. Their quote price had doubled.

Yes that shop's done GTM installs but only on G37s that I know of. Another thing I can do is scrap the turbo set up and just go supercharged stg2. But, the shop told me that twin turbo set up is more reliable, quiet, and well they have already install twin turbos already. Thoughts
Stock internals are fine. 3 shops told me 540-550whp was the limit. I've been running at 503whp for about 1k miles. So far so good. I know of a few HRs that went around at 530ish whp for a while and did fine. I'm going to be doing a Blackstone analysis on my next oil change to see if there is any bearing wear though.

Just as an update MM'08, I talked with another GTM stage 2 setup and he confirmed that he as well as a few others he knows is having rub issues with the steering knuckle and turbo housing. Again, I shaved it down a little and it fixed it for the most part. Besides that, that is the only real qualm I have with the GTM setup. My shop, TopSpeed Motorsports encountered several GTM fitment issues but did a great job working around it and fixing some all together. Actually, Rob, the OP of this thread has moved to TopSpeed and was my project manager.
I think if you can get the steering knuckle fixed you will enjoy the GTM setup, just be prepared for it not to be perfect.
I will say again though, I think your NA setup is a lot better than you realize. Great for tracking or autoX. It's not all about straight line driving!
