Default TB Coolant bypass mod

Had the intake manifold off this weekend and decided to do away with the TB coolant lines due to the hot temps during the summer here in FL. Took a few minutes to use a dremel and cut the coolant lines away from the vacuum line connecting both TBs. The car feels better even though from what I've read there shouldn't be a noticeable difference.

Who else has done this and what has been your experience?

^ I just have a question, what is that procedure supposed to do for cooling? I've got an '07HR and also live in a "heat zone" haha! Please let me/us know if you notice any positives out of this.

This just prevents hot coolant from flowing through the throttle bodies, no need to heat up the air coming into the intake manifold. I actually did notice a difference surprisingly. From what I have read some claim that by lowering the intake air temp I will decrease my fuel economy and the fuel won't combust as it is meant to. Others claim it doesn't improve nor harm anything.

From what I have noticed so far the car feels peppier and fuel economy seems no different. I will report back in a week though.

This was my first mode 7yrs ago. I dont think that I felt any differance. It was a cheap mode and gave me something to do.

I will try this mod on my '05 6 speed. I live in Florida so no need to heat my throttle body even more...Not expecting miracles but should only take a few minutes to do...
