Default HR clutch/flywheel combo in near future!

I've read plenty on the forum, asked some questions and looked at some good company sites regarding clutch/flywheel combo kits for my '07 HR. My stock clutch is hanging in ok for now, but I want to upgrade fairly soon and just wanted to get some info./feedback from some of you that may have installed some of the brands that I'm considering; here is some of what I've looked into:

ZSpeed offers a nice "HR" complete package that has a South Bend DXD stg. 2 cluch and SB flywheel (19 lbs.), zspeed/willwood MC, zspeed CSC, 4 litres Motul fluid, pilot bushing.

CZP also has some nice combo kits with different varieties, brands of clutch/flywheels.

ACT (company site) offers some good lightweight flywheels and combos.

Z1 performance has nice combos, but I also could piece the setup together from different places.

*ACT has a new chromoly "street light" flywheel (17.1 lbs.).

I know that I probably couldn't go wrong with say ACT, South Bend, Clutch Masters, Exedy, JWT and several others I've looked at. Anyway I'm excited to start making my list and getting a good setup on my car, street use with some rowdiness mixed in, car is SC'd, approx. 375-400 whp, tq is a guess. Thanks for your input and/or advice!

the stock clutch was holding up surprisingly well for 500 corrected torque at 5500'. But with a built motor coming together I am looking at the ZSpeed CSC replacement kit as my car is on the recall list for the CSC. I also had the pedal stick on me just once, but it was enough to think i had finally destroyed the clutch.

I'd be nice to have a super single that could hold like 600-650 torque with ability to slip similar to stock. It looks like I may have to end up biting the bullet with a dual disc OS Giken as there's not many options for HR's and those are damn expensive. ugh -_-

Just got came from the shop and we ordered a South Bend stg. 2 kevlar clutch with the SB 19 lb. flywheel (for HR), Zspeed csc, Willwood master, stainless lines, Redline fluids. My mechanic worked out a good deal with Coz at CZP for this nice combo. Been looking into a bunch of options, combos and this is what I decided on; Coz recommended this himself. Can't wait to get it installed.

Will do. *I've never broken in a clutch before, can some of you guys give me some tips for break in period? City driving and freeway, how many miles, etc. Also, should I shift normally during this period? I know noob question, but like I said, never done this before but look forward to popping 'da cherry!

No jack rabbits starts out of first, no high rpm up or downshifts, city driving is best. 500 miles is the usual amount, after that drop the hammer when you want...

Some will say just drive it, but better to be safe, if you romp on it and glaze the clutch, you can forget about a warrantied replacement.

When I was breaking in my South Bend SS clutch/flywheel, I would drive it like a normal car. Just not getting on the clutch, not trying to race or do much fast rpm climbs. And lots and lots of clutch pedal depressing. try n make that flywheel and clutch make contact a whole bunch. Did that for nearly 600 miles, won't ever forget the first time I got on it with the new clutch!

Thanks guys for the good info. I will do plenty of city driving, take it easy on starts, and down shifts and just try to be smart during the break in. The kit should be at the local shop maybe today (Thurs.) and I'll be doing the break in process within the week. I look forward to having this new setup on the car; should be a nice upgrade.

Shop called me today and unfortunately there has been a delay due to the South Bend 19lb. flywheel, so I have to wait. He said that Coz at CZP mentioned that this flywheel is a hot item and they were out of stock temporarily. I hate waiting; thought I'd have the new setup already installed.

Question: I realize that there is a certain amount of parasitic power loss with the SC, I'll soon have a 10 lb. lighter than stock flywheel, would that help to compensate for that loss I mean significant?
