I went to Pros Tuning in west palm..awesome people. Roger tuned my car and hes extremely thorough. I went with HFC's because i prefer the sound more than test pipes and the 1-2 hp difference isnt a big deal to me..i actually put down more than some other HR's on this dyno that have test pipes. The highest hr 350z on this same dyno was 305 whp and he has motordyne exhaust and art pipes..so obviously not much difference there lol

Its 300 for the up rev license and then 300 to tune..from what I've seen that price is pretty much the norm.. This guy really takes his time to make sure you're getting everything out of the car while staying safe at the same time.

Love that Gemini sound. Good choice sir.

Don't know that much about about HR, but is that TQ figure low/avg/high?

taking a conservative drivetrain loss of 18% that would put you into 354 crank hp range and 313 tq, very impressive for a base HR z (lightest model out there)

in comparison a stock 370z nismo puts down in the 290whp range stock, so you have yourself nismo straight line acceleration at 1/3 the price!

edit: 370 nismo curbweight is 3340 lbs, you are probably in the 3200 range having a base Z, so on paper you should walk all over a stock 370 or 370 nismo.

Where did you get your injen intakes? Cheapest i found was ebay for $420, but I don't want to spend over 300 on them.

How many passes did the tuner make, and what kind of parameters did he change?

If he tunes me in west palm and then I move to TN will it mess up the tune parameters? i.E, does he tune with an average humidity and temperature deviation?

most impressive!

thanks man, its a great exhaust..it can be quiet when you want it to, but really opens up at full throttle..as far as tq numbers they seem to be average/high for an HR at the same whp with similar mods.

thanks m8..the intakes i got for 415 shipped i think, honestly they are well worth it though. I dont think an HR will hit 300whp without them and i def felt a top end improvement. The tuner probably did about 7 passes.. i know he was making adjustments to alot of things..def air fuel/timing and some other things i cant remember..he was really detailed though which i like. As far as getting tuned here and moving somewhere else i cant see there being a problem. Getting tuned in the humidity is probably better so when you go somewhere cooler the car will run better.

I am going to pick up some CNT HFC's (coupled with my s-tune cbe), and hopefully get some black injen intakes for under 400 shipped and then hit up the tuner

so basically I will be going from a 260-270whp stock car to about 290whp fingers crossed.

How does the car feel just driving on the street after tune?

would love to see dyno sheet, i want to see the torque curve distribution

sounds like a plan..I dont see any reason you shouldnt hit 290. Although im not sure how good the nismo s-tune is power wise (sounds great though). As for as street driving it feels awesome..the low end and mid range feel great. The engine feels so smooth as well. There was a major power dip after peak hp from like 6800 rpm to redline which he was able as able to flatten out and gain more power. baseline before the tune was 292 peak then went up to 302 as the final run

The base weight is 3339. A single exhaust and quarter tank of gas should get him down to 3200 though. With those intakes you should def hit 290. Even without a tune. I hit 291 without exhaust and test pipes. I might dyno there soon or this other place I had in mind. Hoping for 310WHP.

Probably Dynojet, but if that's a Mustangdyno, that's some impressive numbers

But still very nice to see another Z hit > 300rwhp
